I have been passionate about the arts and creating meaningful work that aligns with my personal experiences and interest as a Mexican American female since I was a child. Currently, my work focuses on my appreciation of color, nature, various cultures, and textiles. My fascination with cultures has brought me a greater awareness by transforming the lens that I use to look at the world and all it’s beautiful people. I believe in order to become a unified global community you must understand the experiences of our fellow human beings, traditions, beliefs, and the various forms of artistic expression. My career goal is to use my creativity in design and advertising to visually communicate and raise awareness of causes and ideas to a greater audience while empowering women and children with a focus on my heritage, creativity, and unity. Working with Poco A Poco has been an absolute blessing and I look forward to creating more with such an amazing organization and building a community of strong WOC!
